This summer I visited the Boar's Head Inn in Charlottesville, VA.  The property is gorgeous, with rolling green hills and tons of folliage, surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains.  It was easy to reflect and feel hopeful in such a serene setting.  
This is my first painting of 2023.  The start of the new year is a perfect time to reflect on the previous year, and feel hope for what is to come.
